I was current on my bills, just way too much in debt. It was not easy for me to wait out the first 3-4 months as we needed to let the bills get behind so the creditors would work with us. It is a very nerve-wrecking process, but CuraDebt made it so easy and less stressful by taking the phone calls and mailings themselves and keeping the stress off me. They were also kind enough to reduce or adjust the service fee for some creditors if the creditors were the ones who initiated or offered the settlement themselves!
